Koorana ESC School Board is responsible for governance of the school. In effect this means that the board’s role is to improve student outcomes by working with the Principal to determine the overall strategic directions of the school, prepare a business plan, monitor the school’s performance and support the school to achieve its objectives.

The Board ratifies the Annual Report, Annual Budget and Business Plan and approves Contributions, Fees and Charges.

Koorana ESC School Board consists of 5 members with parents and community representatives making up the majority of members.

The Board meets at least once per term.
